We think the edit should be the easy part

If you sell on TikTok Shop, you already know the job. Film the thing. Say the thing. Then spend forty minutes cutting out the bits where you fumbled, trimming the silence, fixing the colour so it does not look like it was shot in a cupboard, and typing captions you have typed a hundred times before. Post it. Do it again tomorrow.

The filming is the part only you can do. The rest is mechanical, and mechanical work is what software is for.

Why quality, specifically

Cutting a video by its transcript is not hard, and there are already tools that do it. What most of them will not touch is the picture and the sound — so the output is well-structured footage that still looks like unedited phone video.

That gap is the whole reason Cutly exists. Matching the exposure across your shots, applying one cohesive look, taking the room echo out of your audio: these are the things people notice and cannot quite name. They are also the things that make a video feel worth watching to the end.

Who is behind it

Cutly is built by one person, trading as Essentiala Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. There is no support team and no sales department. When you email us, the person who wrote the software reads it.

That has a real trade-off, and it would be dishonest not to say so: replies take a day or two rather than minutes. What you get in exchange is that feedback about edit quality goes straight to the person who can change it, and usually does.

Where we are

Early. The product is being built in the open with real sellers using it, and the roadmap is shaped by what breaks on their footage rather than what demos well. Posting straight to TikTok, multiple hook variations and a scripting mode are all planned; none of them are here yet, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.
